Budgeting, especially after the holidays? No need for expensive therapy equipment, utensils, or programs for your toddler or preschooler. There are many household items you can use to engage your child in play to strengthen, improve, and maintain their fine motor skills.  Just like we workout to strengthen our arms and legs, it’s important to keep our hands and fingers strong! Especially for young children developing, hand and finger strength is needed in reaching many important developmental milestones such as dressing fasteners, shoe tying, handwriting, opening containers, packages, and manipulating toys.
